Ongoing Development & Testing

Ongoing monitoring of the system and evaluation of trade results allows the NQS team to ensure the system is running smoothly and provide a basis for system improvements.

Improvements (optimizations) to the system are tested in a separate environment before being applied to the trading strategy. These must first qualify by providing an overall benefit by enhancing performance without affecting the risk and money management parameters.

Next Generation Trading is a state of the art high-performance trading architecture infrastructure.  Although NQS does not conduct or develop HFT (High Frequency Trading), we understand that in the fast-paced world of high performance trading, lucrative opportunities such as liquidity imbalances and short-term pricing inefficiencies may only exist for microseconds. Although the Success of NQS does not depend on identifying and acting on these opportunities, we continuously seek to reduce latency and use an ultra-low-latency switch in order to process a high volume of transactions which is critical in conducting algorithmic trading with as little delay as possible.
